Scott Nation

Scott Nation is a Georgia native with over 25 years of professional mortgage experience. Through the home buying process, Scott is passionate about helping his clients achieve their financial goals. He understands no two people are alike and applies strategic thinking to help customize a loan that works for his client’s personal needs. Scott finds it especially rewarding to have developed many close relationships with his clients through the years and enjoys the opportunity his role provides to meet new people and make connections in his community. Outside of his role with United, Scott is on the executive council for the board of directors of The Extension, a nonprofit organization that addresses substance abuse issues and provides help for those in need. Scott also volunteers his time for a local nonprofit that feeds the homeless. After attending three universities - Dalton College, Georgia Institute of Technology and Southern Tech - Scott received both an associate and bachelor's degree in physics, as well as his bachelor's in mathematics. In his free time, you can find Scott reading, bicycling or sailing the seas in his sailboat.
