Jennine Hunter

Jennine Hunter began her career in the mortgage industry in 1993. Her first position was as a loan officer at Household Finance Corporation. In 1995, when the industry exploded, Jennine became a Mortgage Broker for various companies until she landed at Indianapolis Downtown Real Estate where she worked as a licensed Realtor and Mortgage Originator serving underserved communities for over 10 years. When the market changed in 2008, Jennine went to work for the FHA Resource Center as a Customer Service Representative.  Jennine was tasked with fielding questions from underwriters, appraisers, loan originators, loan servicers and consumers. She was able to help them navigate this specific loan product, and in the process learned the ins and outs of what it takes to successfully take an FHA loan from application to closing.
 
Jennine has also had the opportunity to process loans, act as a due diligence reviewer and assist a loan officer before moving into a senior loan officer role. Her extensive experience in these different areas of the mortgage industry means Jennine understands the loan process from beginning to end and can skillfully guide her clients through the entire home loan process. She is excited to work with all borrowers at United Community Bank – from first-time homebuyers to those who are seeking their final residence. Jennine’s motto is, “I want to be your lender for every stage of your life.”
 
Outside of work, Jennine is passionate about working with youth. For over 25 years, she was a Lead Facilitator for the Center for Leadership Development where she taught life skills training through their flagship program, Self-Discovery/Career Exploration Project. Professionally, Jennine is an active member of the National Black MBA Association, Atlanta Chapter, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., and member the DeKalb County Women’s Council of Realtors.
